Boom Racing stallion

Spirit of Boom

spirit of boom

Spirit of Boom is Australia's leading son of the country's most consistent sire of the past decade, Sequalo. He is the modern day iron horse, having raced uninterrupted for five seasons at the highest level. Spirit, as he is affectionately known, became one of the most popular horses in the country and formed one part of the “Boom Brothers”.
His popularity skyrocketed  in the last 12 months of his racing career, with consistent performances at the elite level start-after-start. He broke through at Group 1 level in the autumn 2014 and  it didn't take long before he became a dual Group 1 winner when taking out the 2014 Doomben 10000 when the Boom Brothers finished 1-2. He finished in the top four at Group 1 level, 11 times and overall 30 times in Stakes Company. His uncanny ability to turn in outstanding final sectionals, culminating in numerous blistering finishes seen the son out of Stakes placed  mare Temple Spirit develop a cult following among loyal racing fans.
Such admiration has extended to Spirit's Group 1 winning brother, Temple of Boom, with the duo showing durability and consistent speed in all seasonal contests over the past five years. He has proved a highly sort after commodity at stud having served 447 mares in his first 3 seasons in the breeding barn. It has followed onto the sales rings with his progeny across all sales averaging over 4 times his service fee. They have since broken - in with glowing reports across the country.

It is fair to say Spirit of Boom has set the stallion scene alight like no other first season stallion in Australia ever. His record of 17 runners before christmas who have won 8 races with 3 individual stakes winners puts him into the elite stallion category. With great numbers in his 1st 4 seasons at stud he has been given every chance to compete on the National Stage.
