Spirit of Boom – Boomalicious Filly 2015 : Boomtown Lass


The ALLEGED mares 1st foal producing a stocky 51kg filly foal. She has developed good length and like her mother will develop into a good size mare. Whilst any foal Dual Group 1 winner SPIRIT OF BOOM sires will have the potential to be precocious this filly will also get over ground in time. 

This filly heads to the Magic Millions National Sale in June 2017, she has been trouble free from birth and goes there having ticked every box over the past 18 months. She has now become our first fully subscribed yearling after we retained at the sales. Developed exceptionally during the breaking - in period and has really closed up in the knees.

Stryker – Ready to Belong Colt : SOLD $15,000 MARCH QTIS 2017

Ready to Belong

This colt by FASTNET ROCK stallion Stryker has the breeding through the dam to be a potential star. 1st Dam Ready to Belong by MORE THAN READY is out of 4 times stakes winning mare across 3 states BELONG TO MANY who upon retirement sold as a broodmare for $525,000. 

He has all the makings of being an early season 2 year old being a stocky type much in the mould of BRT's now retired GR1 sprinter TEMPLE OF BOOM. This colt will head to the March QTIS sale Lot 223 ( sold for $15,000) and is both QTIS and SUPER VOBIS Nominated.

Spirit of Boom - Miss Leibert Colt 2016

Miss Leibert Colt

This foal has all the attributes to be an early runner. Out of the 6 time city winner Miss Leibert who raced in Listed Company by BRT stallion SPIRIT OF BOOM this colt is much more like his father than her 2015 foal who unfortunately died in a paddock accident. 

Out of a winning family with 5 to race for 5 winners including 3 city winners and earnings of $180,000 and $232,000 respectively. This colt developed a sway back at 6 months and was never sold through the sales rings.

Spirit of Boom – Ready To Belong Filly : SOLD $240,000 QTIS MARCH 2018

The 2nd foal by this mare producing a filly 7kilograms bigger and a much better type than the mares first foal. A well bred mare with plenty of upside through siblings. Smart mare Majestic Lass won 2 city races and is now at stud, this year being served by SEBRING

Her 1/2 brother NATIVE SOLDIER won twice in his 2-year-old season and also achieved black type status when finishing 3rd in the Group 3 Blue Diamond Prelude. He has since returned in fine fashion running 3rd in the Group 3 Vain Stakes on his first run back as a 3-year-old on August 18th.

Spirit of Boom x Limealicious Colt : Sold $150,000 MAGIC MILLIONS 2018

This colt has plenty to live being up to having a full brother to SPIRIT OF BOOM who was one of the stallions best of his first crop. This colt weighed 64 kilograms at birth. His Full brother sold at the recent 2017 Magic Millions for $70,000 and this Colt is regarded as a better type.

 The full brother has since broken - in with great promise. With this fella's full brother going super through the breaking - in and pre - training period this colt will test the price paid at last years Magic Millions sale for his sibling. If type is anything to go by the 2016 version should be able to run.

Sebring - Angelic Light colt : SOLD $240,000 INGLIS EASTER 2018

Sebring - Angelic Light Born 17/10/2016

This Colt is bred to be a top class racehorse. By the stallion producing SEBRING who has done magnificently in a short period at stud and out of the 3 time Group 1 placed mare ANGELIC LIGHT this Colt will test the ceiling price of Sebring's progeny when he hits the sales ring in 18 months time. 

With black type running through the dams pedigree this Colt is sure to peak the interest from all within the industry. This Colt will be set for the Inglis Easter sale in 2018 and by the looks of his latest photo will go there with the chance to set new records.

Sebring - Angelic Light Born 17/10/2016

The full sister of EF TROOP has plenty to live up to but has developed into a great type. Ef Troop set the scene for SPIRIT OF BOOM'S record breaking first season at stud when taking out the stallions first Black Type race in the Phelan Ready Stakes. 

He went on to tackle the nations best 2yo's and ran a great second in the Group 2 lead up to the Golden Slipper. Her full brother has just turned 2 and he also has plenty of wraps on him and is in the stable of Gary Moore. This filly will be targeted at either the Magics Millions January or the Inglis Easter Sale in 2019.

Spirit of Boom - Ready To Belong Colt : 25/09/2017
Sebring - Angelic Light Born 17/10/2016

This colt is from a very progressive family with NATIVE SOLDIER flying the flag at present. The full sister sold at the 2018 March QTIS on the first day of the sale for $240,000 and was regarded by many as the pick of SPIRIT OF BOOM'S progeny. 

2nd Dam BELONG TO MANY has produced Native Soldier who looks a Group 1 horse in the making as well as the smart mare Majestic Lass. She also has 2 I AM INVINCIBLE progeny on the ground. There is massive upside in this family and this colt will be targeted at Magic Millions January or Inglis Easter Sale in 2019.

Spirit of Boom - Miss Leibert Colt : 12/09/2017

This colt is out of the good race mare Miss Leibert who was a 6 time city winning sprinter. She has had no luck in the breeding barn with her first colt running into a fence 2 weeks after being foaled and her 2016 colt is only now entering into his first preparation. 

The mare throws great types and this colt is no different. SPIRIT OF BOOM'S best progeny have arisen from his best broodmares and this colt would be in the Top 10 in terms of the racing ability of his mum and 1/2 sister Lady Jetsetter. This colt is all speed on speed.

Spirit of Boom - Yatala Filly : 16/09/2017

This Filly is by SPIRIT OF BOOM out of a listed placed MORE THAN READY mare Yatala. This is Yatala'a 3rd foal and if what this filly shows in the paddock is an indication then she will be able to run and quick. Yatala is a full sister to the 16 times winner and stakes placed Ready To Mombo

 Spirit Of Boom served limited numbers of More Than Ready in his first 3 years and this filly just looks like an early runner. She will be targeted at the Melbourne Premier Sale where we hope she will prove to be a popular addition.

Spirit of Boom - Flawless Choice Filly : 23/08/2017

This Filly is by SPIRIT OF BOOM out of REDOUTE'S CHOICE mare Flawless Choice. This means this filly carries the most successful cross thus far with Spirit of Boom being 4 over 3 DANEHILL. Flawless Choice was a 4 time city winning mare and is a 3/4 sister to the speedy stakes placed Saramenha who is doing the job in the breeding barn. Sunset Watch being one of her progeny who looks like going on to reach good heights

She is also a 1/2 sister to Stakes Winner IN BLOOM and from a winning family with Speedy Topaze producing 9 foals to race for 9 winners. This filly will be targeted at the Inglis Classic Sale.

Spirit of Boom - Boomalicious Colt : 21/09/2017 - SOLD $150,000 Magic Millions Weanling Sale 2018

Colt by SPIRIT OF BOOM out of a mare owned and raced by Boom Racing Thoroughbreds. Boomalicious was a 3 time city winning mare who had only 12 starts due to tendon issues. This colt developed into a quality weanling and was purchased by Musk Creek with the view of pinhooking. 

He sold for $150,000 and we hope when he goes through the sales rings as a yearling he far exceeds the amount paid at the Magic Millions Weanling sale. Full sister Boomtown Lass looks to have good ability and should find her way into the winners stall next preparation.

Pierro - Phoenix Park Filly : 24/09/2018

PIERRO is taking all before him at stud, his developing record is starting to put him up there with the best stallions ever. His feats to finish 7th on the overall 2017-18 sires list in Australia from only 2 crops is an achievement that has few peers.

This filly is the first foal out of the THORN PARK mare Phoenix Park who we purchased at the Magi Millions Broodmare sale for $150,000 in 2018. She has produced a quality first foal who will by the time the sales come around in 2020 will be a sought after grey PIERRO filly.

Written Tycoon x Darook Park Colt : 12/09/2018

We bought Darook Park in foal to WRITTEN TYCOON for $135,000 at the Great Southern Sale in 2018. When we purchased her we hoped for a colt and she duly obliged with a stunning colt. He weighed in at 64kg and has great leg and has developed into a very strong looking colt

Darook Park has been served by all staying type stallions previously and this colt looks ready to run. She is from the same family as GYPSY DIAMOND, Gypsy Tucker and Silk Pins. If we get to the sales in 2020 will good x-rays this colt will sell very well.

Outreach x Miss Leibert Colt : 19/09/2018

By the Widden stallion Outreach who we have purchased breeding rights in. He never reached his potential on the track due to an injury sustained in her first start were he started favourite and finished 2nd to Golden Slipper Winner VANCOUVER. His full sister OVERREACH won the Golden Slipper.

Miss Leibert was a very good race track performer who was a 6 time city winning mare who earned $186,000 on the track though has been unlucky in the breeding barn. She has a SPIRIT OF BOOM gelding on the ground who is a sway back though he looks like getting to the track and a full brother who will go through the sales ring in 2019. Her 1/2 sister Lady Jetsetter was a 7 time city winning mare who won just under $300,000 in prizemoney.

Choisir x Come Fly With Me Colt : 23/08/2018

This colt is by the globetrotting Aussie Stallion Choisir. Choisir has been a leading stallion in this country for the last decade and continues to produce good horses, many of which still get up and go early. He is now a sire producing stud with many of his sons now at Stud

Come Fly With Me was a stakes performer on the track and she is by the broodmare sire sensation More Than Ready. This mare was purchased at the Magic Millions Broodmare sale in foal to Choisir for $40,000.

Spirit Of Boom x Ready To Belong Colt : 06/10/2018

This colt is by the leading First Season Stallion Spirit of Boom who set the racing industry alight in the 2017-18 producing 5 Stakes performers. Ready to Belong has a full sister to this colt on the ground in the Tony Gollan stable who is showing good ability.

With the progeny of Spirit of Boom now in the countries leading stables and in 2018 serving a book of mares far exceeding that of years before this colt could be a stallion prospect by the time he hits the sales rings in 2020.

Flying Artie x Come Mica be the One Filly : 11/10/2018

By the World Champion 3yo Flying Artie who won the Stallion making Coolmore Stud Stakes defeating fellow stallions Extreme Choice, Russian Revolution,Astern and Star Turn. It is the Dam's sire of this foal that really takes the eye.

Mica Be the One is from the great Criterion family who sits in the 3rd dam and her mother Varenna Miss was an exceptional racehorse winning at Group 2 level and finishing 4th twice at Group 1 level. Her siblings include 4-time Group 1 winner Criterion, Group 1 winner Comin Through and Listed winner Silently. A truly outstanding page with Varenna Miss also having 2 I Am Invincible on the ground to run.
