Boom Racing Thoroughbreds : WE BREED TO SELL AND BUY TO SYNDICATE!!!

Our business has developed very quickly over the past 18 months. What started out as a syndication focused business has now become an all round multi faceted one. After quickly becoming a leading player in racehorse syndication with an ownership base of 400 valued and spoilt clients we have also turned to other areas within the industry. These include Breeding and Pinhooking.

Breeding & Pinhooking: A Major Focus

After racing Spirit of Boom and then becoming a shareholder post career we have been able to jump on the back of his sudden rise into one of the most commercial stallions in the country. The fortunes of Spirit of Boom has allowed us to develop networks and open doors that would have taken far longer had it not been for his success.

We now run a breeding business with 11 broodmares and this upcoming breeding seasons will have a draft the envy of all small breeders. Included in our 9 strong consignment are 5 Spirit of Boom yearlings, 3 fillies we have purchased to pinhook by Vancouver, Nicconi and Toronado and a Sepoy Colt we secured to take to the Magic Millions Ready To Run sale.

Racehorse Syndication: Bread & Butter for The Racing Experience

In a short time we have managed to become a leading player in racehorse syndication through fundamentally having a strong work ethic. Our owners know what their horses are doing. Whether they are out in the spelling paddock, trialing, pre-training or heading to the races our updates all delivered by video content keeps our owners in the game. With BRT you also get the personal touch and our owners become friends more than clients.

We provide THE ULTIMATE RACEHORSE OWNERSHIP EXPERIENCE culminating with an all round race day experience... In effect the grand final. A day at the races is much more than the result of your racehorse. It should be a celebration and a mechanism at to cement relationships, build upon new ones, network and come away with money can’t buy experiences.

Our love for horse racing and its showpiece the thoroughbred has seen us lucky enough to have been involved as owners over the past decade in horses such as Group 1 performers the Boom Brothers (Temple and Spirit) as well as the mare Angelic Light who famously beat the world’s best sprinter Lankan Rupee as a shortest of short favourites.

Professional sport has been my entire adult life, at the age of sixteen I was recruited to the NRL and played 15 seasons in the NRL and English Super League. Upon retirement I entered the coaching ranks and have coached at all professional levels. Along with Rugby League there has been one other constant in my life and that has been the love of the thoroughbred. Read more >>

I am a born and bred Ipswich boy. Similar to Andrew professional sport has played a large role in my life. My professional rugby league career commenced at the Gold Coast Seagulls back in 1994.  I continued at the gold coast with the Chargers, then two years with the mighty South Sydney Rabbitohs before finishing off my career with the North Queensland Cowboys.  Read more >>

Snicki Minaj

Snicki Minaj

This filly by Hinchinbrook is currently flying the flag for Boom Racing Thoroughbreds and our owners. Having won her 1st trial in a canter after doing similar in a jump out she started out in Listed Grade in the Calaway Gal stakes where she had no luck down the straight. In the end she was beaten 3.1 lengths behind Magic Millions placegetter Outback Barbie who is her work mate on the gallops.

Snicki's next assignment was at Doomben over the same 1110m distance. She made light work of her rivals to win by 3 lengths running away and in the meanwhile booked her trip to take on the southerners in the $250,000 RL Inglis Classic. She ran a super race to finish 4th after being 5 wide the entire race and never being allowed to settle in the race. She has already developed a cult following with racegoers and amongst her 65 owners.
